Let’s mimic natural ecosystems and networks by supporting one another to build interconnected alliances, collaborations and solutions to repair our planet.

By Jake Kelley & Allison Hawkins

“To drop into being means to recognize your interconnectedness with all life, and with being itself. Your very nature is being part of larger and larger spheres of wholeness.” — Jon Kabat-Zinn

Networks are everywhere. Let’s expand the power of efficient and responsible planet repair networks.

They have shown us the great powers of societies, economies, cities, communities and what can be accomplished when we work together toward a common goal. Information, data, maps and all other terms of epistemological things and forms of knowledge are extremely powerful. It’s a complex world out there, and we need to navigate effectively with our required information while aligning with long-term sustainability.

Diminishing division, inaction and inefficiency by responsibly sharing knowledge and connecting to work together towards saving our planet.

Misinformation has accelerated the trashing of our planet. At what point did the truth become an opinion? Greenwashing has thrived by leveraging misinformation and a lack of standards, credibility and trust-building. HPRT plans to change that by creating standards and playbooks, providing certifications and auditing for those who commit to those standards. Real progress can only be achieved once we are all on the same page, open and honest about our goals, and standing by the claims we’ve made. Our societies have become slowly poisoned with unhealthy competition, greed, misinformation, mistrust, questionable credibility and judgment rather than empathy. These toxic patterns have proliferated suffering, violence, culture wars, loneliness and depression.

A healthy ecology is the basis for a healthy economy.” — Claudine Schneider, former U.S. Representative from Rhode Island, in The Green Lifestyle Handbook

We need to stop the behaviors and patterns that lead us down a path of self-destruction. Our leaders should be looking to bridge us together, show us our common purpose and demonstrate the road to recovery and resilience. You can be one of these leaders! Don’t wait for others to take action to heal the planet. Use your passion for the environment to make a meaningful change in the world. Question misinformation, use the power of knowledge, science, and most importantly, actions towards changes you know will make a difference, demonstrating that change can be remarkable and sustainable in the long-term and short-term. Use your actions and influence to inspire and support others. HPRT is here to help you along the way with our planet repair communities.

Increasing focus on strategies of connection. Connectedness helps us identify opportunities to interact and achieve with others.

Connectedness often causes chain reactions that deliver relationships and actions that amplify capacity-building for critical opportunities. The diverse combination of forces for connecting to scale solutions efficiently and responsibly helps us discover how to make the world a better place — usually in surprising and unique ways of connecting and evolving. Some of the most powerful sustainability solutions, human systems and cultural treasures are the ones that incorporate the benefits and powers of Mother Nature, connecting people, places and things that show us possibilities we might not have otherwise known. As your world expands, connections provide seeds for more potential relationships, opportunities, knowledge and other developments in the future. Look at the history of the power brought by networks that connected so many people, places and things — such as connecting network infrastructures like trains and the internet.

History has made it clear that the best grand strategies are delivered by leadership that recognizes the collective power of shared human interests, connections, incentives and needs.

The important element is the way in which all things are connected. Every thought and action sends shivers of energy into the world around us, which affects all creation. Perceiving the world as a web of connectedness helps us to overcome the feelings of separation that hold us back and cloud our vision. This connection with all life increases our sense of responsibility for every move, every attitude, allowing us to see clearly that each soul does indeed make a difference to the whole.” ― Emma Restall Orr

Bio-DIVERSITY & equality requires a “Connectory “of people, places and things for planet repair.

A connectory synergizes the deep roots of our common biology and chemistries to empower us to build a better world. Disconnection, separation and isolation are some of the most detrimental and negative forces that can weaken us. Let’s work together to take the actions required to achieve our ultimate goal — a healthy planet so we can live a healthy life. HPRT offers the opportunity to meet individuals from across the globe in a wide variety of fields — all looking to tackle climate change and heal the planet. It is through these connections that we support everyone to connect with responsibly and efficiently scale up planet repair solutions no matter who you are. Let’s grow the projects, businesses, entrepreneurs, new inventions, events and actions that clean up the planet and restore our ecosystems.

Navigating! Exploring! Searching! Connecting! Directing! Matchmaking! Sharing! Caring!

All people, places and things must start empowering themselves to achieve the ubiquitous sustainability we all need by using strategic, tactical, long-term, holistic planning and everyday implementation. It takes a community. But sometimes, all that is needed to scale planet repair is just a few people with the essential ambition, relationships, resources and intrinsic motivation required to succeed. Join HPRT and work with us to help others connect to direct people, places and things in ways that can help us achieve shared goals. Act through design, building and community growth. Allocate by connecting with funders, practitioners, communities and other critical stakeholders to scale up solutions and deliver cobenefits. Adapt by improving over time — monitor, report and verify. The levels of density and intensity of our relationships can help to get the provisions needed to scale planet repair and restore our health and our home.

Aligning common goals, connections and actions for progress around our biosphere.

A planet repair team should be both local and global, being mindful of common problems and unique local issues and solutions. This requires an adaptable approach to repairing the planet. One that can meet our overall goals while also addressing the needs of specific communities. Teams need to connect both people and things to find impactful progressive solutions. Living things in nature are connected and interdependent for survival. As humans, we need to be aware of our negative behavior that upsets that balance. Instead, restore and maintain our balance with Mother Nature by becoming a positive contributor to our ecosystems. We can efficiently become a unified force that collectively coordinates its efforts at an optimal level to achieve symbiosis. This requires empathy not only with one another, but with all life that inhabits the land, water, and air on the planet. We must be self-conscious of our actions and grow rock-solid bonds with strong foundational roots of communication, trust and credible respect. HPRT is dedicated to setting up and sustaining the systems that connect and facilitate humans and organizations with the opportunities, connections and tools for repairing our planet and improving life.

Striving for intergenerational impact and collaboration is crucial for the creative development of all kinds of thinking, planning, and action-oriented opportunities.

What part can you play? There are many roles to actively participate in ways that speak to your passion for planet repair. HPRT communities focus on achieving our common goals by connecting your intrinsic motivation with planet repair missions through various roles, activities, events and information. At a minimum, each of us can help others to achieve planet repair. One significant pathway is engaging others and expanding your personal network by making connections and (often meaningful) relationships with new acquaintances, friends, mentors, and partners.

Those who want to co-create the blue-green futures we need can win by connecting with each other for action-oriented goals and support — such as social impact entrepreneurs with hungry investors or vulnerable communities that need NGO’s adaptation support for regenerative agriculture transitions. There are numerous ways that HPRT can help you help the planet, so join today and start the journey toward planet repair.

Quotes:

To be whole. To be complete. Wildness reminds us what it means to be human, what we are connected to rather than what we are separate from.” — Terry Tempest Williams, naturalist and “citizen writer”

“A human being is a part of the whole, called by us “Universe”, a part limited in time and space. [(S)he] experiences [their self], [their] thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest — a kind of optical delusion of [his/her] consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security.” — Albert Einstein
